Second Grade
The Grade 2 program is designed to provide opportunities for children to acquire the basic skills fundamental to their continuing education. The classroom environment focuses on developing and maintaining the child’s confidence and sense of self-worth. Students are given the opportunity to make decisions within a structured setting. This document is an overview of the curriculum to which your child will be exposed. The Maples Curriculum is designed to enhance the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum expectations.
