First Grade
The Grade 1 program marks the transition from Kindergarten to Primary classes. The curriculum is designed to allow students to successfully use the basic skills learned in the Kindergarten as the focus of the program becomes more academic. This document is an overview of the curriculum to which your child will be exposed. The Maples Curriculum is designed to enhance the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum expectations.
