Admissions Process

Here are the basic steps for admission:

Step 2: Book a tour
We encourage parents to visit the school during school hours so that they can get a firsthand look at how things are done at The Maples. We also encourage the prospective student to come for a full day visit to experience a class.

Step 3: Submit an Application Package
Once you have seen the school and have decided to continue with the enrolment process, you will need to fill out an Application Package and submit documents to the school. At this point, a $500.00 deposit cheque is submitted.

Step Four: Entrance Assessment
The Maples will notify parents of acceptance shortly after the application has been received.

Fee/Form Details

Regular school days run from 8:45 - 3:30. We offer before school care from 7:00 to 8:45am. After school care is also available from 3:30-5:30 pm at an additional charge. This fee will be calculated on a monthly basis.

A $500 deposit is required for all students, including families with multiple children applying. This is to be mailed or delivered with the admission application, registration agreement, OSR release and health history. Once the paperwork, and deposits are received, students will be notified as to whether or not they have been accepted. Any student not accepted, will be refunded all fees. Families with more than one child attending The Maples Academy will receive a discount on the second and subsequent children attending grades 1 - 8.

Acceptance is not finalized until all payments and forms are in . Junior and Senior Kindergarten, tuition total is $8700. For grades 1-8, tuition total is $10400. For payment options, please see payment plan.

NSF cheques will incur a $35 service charge.
